Mercia Grange Care Home

  • Client:
    Octopus Health Care

  • Location:
    Sutton Coldfield

  • Project Value:
    £9m

  • Added Value:
This project was delivered on the site of a former Garage/Car Showroom. The site was challenging for a number of reasons, due to the site boundary constraints, existing ground conditions and underground obstructions/petrol tanks. The site conditions required CWA to design and detail a reinforced concrete arrangement of ground beams to span over areas of disturbed and ‘loose’ formed ground geology, in order to support the 3-storey masonry and steel frame structure above.
